This publication provides an overview of the most important market developments for personal care products in 2004 in Western Europe. Our aim is it to fully integrate data from the Central and Eastern European Member States in next year’s publication. Colipa has paid particular attention in gathering data relevant to the market sector trend, and to a qualitative analysis of such data, therefore contributing to a greater knowledge and development of this sector both inside the EU and in other parts of the world. The data has been collected by the Colipa Member Associations of the countries presented and several International Companies’ experts. I thank all those who have been so active in this process.
